Snowshoeing 2024 GUIDED SNOWSHOE HIKES
Carson City Parks & Rec is guiding 2024 snowshoe hikes around the area this winter. Book ASAP as there is limited space and tickets and required in advance.
Snowshoeing is the perfect way to get out and exercise and enjoy nature during the winter months. These snowshoe trips are designed with the beginner in mind. No experience is necessary. Snowshoes, poles, and transportation are provided. Dates and locations are subject to changed based on weather and snow conditions.
Full-Moon Trips: Headlamps will be provided. Expect colder temperatures and dress in layers.
Sunset Trips: Headlamps will be provided just in case it gets dark before getting back to the car. Be prepared for colder temperatures and dress in layers.
All trip locations and dates are subject to change due to weather and snow conditions. Snowshoes are available and included in registration. Transportation is included. All trips will meet at the Carson City MAC (1860 Russell Way). You can choose to drive yourself if preferred.
