The Carson City Fairgrounds at 601 Old Clear Creek Road in Carson City, Nevada. Opened to the public in September 2010, this roughly 1-acre pond is fed by cool water from Clear Creek and is regularly stocked with rainbow trout by the Nevada Department of Wildlife, making it a favorite place for anglers of all ages.

Anglers can fish from a handicap-accessible floating pier or along the shoreline, and the pond depth reaches about 15 feet, helping to support good trout fishing throughout much of the season. A Nevada fishing license is required for anyone 12 years or older, with a daily limit of three fish and a trout stamp required to take trout home.

The pond area includes nearby parking, portable restrooms, covered picnic tables, and a small trail around the water, making it a pleasant spot for a relaxed outdoor outing within Carson City’s Fuji Park.

Typical Hours: Year-round access during park hours (often early morning to sunset) — winter posted hours are approximately 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
