Baily Fishing Pond opened to the public in September, 2010. The pond is located in the southeast area of the Carson City Fairgrounds. It is 15 feet deep, has a fresh water in-flow from Clear Creek and groundwater, and is stocked with trout by the Nevada Department of Wildlife. There is a handicap accessible floating fishing pier and a parking area. Fishing licenses are required for everyone 12 years of age or older. The take home limit is three fish in possession, or per posted regulations, and a trout stamp is required. Licenses are available at local retail outlets or online through the Nevada Department of Wildlife www.ndow.org
