Horseback Riding

Many of the  trails and open spaces in Carson City are horse friendly.  All the open spaces along the Carson River can be enjoyed on horseback. Across the river opens up into the Pine Nut Mountain Range with acres upon acres of riding area. You may even come across a herd of wild mustangs.  Prison Hill is another great spot to take your equine out for a walk.
