The Brewery Arts Center provides a hub for the arts from major events and concerts to more intimate performances to in the Maizie Harris Jesse Black Box Theater, the Performance Hall, and the Grand Ballroom.

Carson City Symphony

Carson City Symphony, founded in 1984, is a community orchestra and performs five or more concerts annually in Carson City and in the region. The Symphony performs classical and contemporary works and has commissioned and premiered several pieces.

The Mile High Jazz Band

The Mile High Jazz Band presents jazz and big band music on the second Tuesday of every month at Comma Coffee and every August its two-week jazz festival, Jazz & Beyond, offers FREE music all over town in the first 2 weeks in August.

Pinkerton Ballet Theater

Pinkerton Ballet Theater strives to promote the art of dance and sense of community by providing opportunities for the community’s youth to participate in performances alongside professional dancers.

The Proscenium Players Inc. (PPI), founded by Maizie Harris-Jesse and Jim Johns has been the longest running theater company in Carson City, Nevada, started in October of 1965.

Western Nevada Musical Theatre Company presents extraordinary productions at the Community Center’s Bob Boldrick showcasing outstanding casts, sets, and music that rivals the best of Broadway.  The Boldrick Theatre frequently hosts Youth Theater Carson City on its main stage.

Wild Horse Children’s Theater

Wild Horse Children’s Theater, a non-profit organization, is the leading children’s theater in Carson City, NV. Founded in 2007, WHCT is the oldest, continuous running children’s theater in Carson City and has introduced thousands of children from Northern Nevada to the magical world of theater.
