Sunday, April 23, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. at the Carson City Community Center. Join us for the Carson City Symphony Concert: “Becoming Mark Twain: Sam Clemens in Nevada.” Composed by Conductor, David Bugli.

Tickets will be $18 general admission; $15 for seniors, students, and Symphony Association members; and free for youth age 18 and under.

Tickets are on sale now at CCSymphony.com or at the door.

The performance will be narrated by Tom Strekal.  This ambitious piece has been performed by the Carson City Symphony, the Ruby Mountain Symphony in Elko, and the Reno Pops Orchestra.  It celebrates Sam Clemens time in Nevada.  It will be performed by the 55-65 member orchestra.

Violinist Andrew Sords is also featured on the program having performed three times with the Carson City Symphony since 2007.  His long awaited fourth appearance was delayed several times since the start of the COVID epidemic, and he has graciously worked his appearance in Carson City around his busy international schedule.

We look forward to seeing you on the 23rd!
