The City Wide Short Film Competition Begins on Wednesday, May 10th at noon. Films are due on Wednesday, May 24th at noon. The screening will take place at the Brewery Arts Center on Saturday, June 3rd at 7:00 PM.
Teams may submit films that are any genre besides horror (horror films are reserved for our Carson Creepy Short Film Competition in October).
Films must be between 5 and 9 minutes in length, including credits. Prompts will be sent out Wednesday, May 10th at noon; prompts will include:
A line of dialogue
A sound effect
A prop
Films that do not include all three prompts are subject to disqualification.
Silver State Storytellers reserves the right to disqualify any submitted films that include excessive foul language, excessive sexual content, and excessive depictions of drug and alcohol consumption. Our screening events are “family friendly.” Films will be held to a PG-13 rating standard.
