The Spring Eggstravaganza, complete with the chaotic and wholly entertaining annual egg hunt on the lawn at Nevada State Railroad Museum, is returning April 8-9 in Carson City.
While you mentally prepare for the battle field, there are a number of fun activities you can enjoy! Take a train ride from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., play games in Gibson’s Park (10 and older), color inside the museum, and much more.
Regular museum admission applies: $8 for adults 18 and over and free for children and teens under 18.
Egg hunts for the little guys is scheduled for 11 a.m., with children only up to the age of 5 permitted along with one adult per child. Older, blood thirsty children must wait until 1 p.m.
The true chaos begins at 1 p.m. with children aged 5 to 10. No adults are allowed within the battlefield.
There will also be egg hunts within the museum, limited to one egg per child.
