Pollinator Palooza

Join the Nevada State Museum and Bee City USA #76 in celebrating Pollinator Month on June 21, 2025, for the inaugural Pollinator Palooza festival happening in downtown Carson City. The celebration starts at the Nevada State Museum at 8:30 am.

Activities Will Include: 

  • Bees, Butterflies & Bats Crafts
  • Face Painting
  • Honey Tasting
  • Sidewalk Chalk Art
  • Curator’s Corner: Nevada Pollinators
  • Food Trucks
  • Vendors
  • Pollinator Parade at 10 am
  • More exciting activities to take place at the Carson Mall at 1 pm!

Pollinator Palooza activities in the Dema Guinn Concourse, Loftin Park and westside parking area are free. Admission to Museum exhibit galleries is $10 for adults and free for members and children 17 and under.

8:30 a.m. Doors open, vendor set-up and sidewalk chalk art (chalk provided)
9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Pollinator Curator’s Corner
9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Face painting
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pollinator-themed Crafts
9:30 a.m. Pollinator Parade Staging, Loftin Park
10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Pollinator Parade, Loftin Park
