The Virginia & Truckee will be taking passengers to the North Pole once again this holiday season when the THE POLAR EXPRESS returns to Carson City, Nov. 15 through Dec. 24. With More dates and trains added this season!
Set to THE POLAR EXPRESS motion picture soundtrack, pajama-clad children can relive the magical story as families are whisked away for an unforgettable ride to the North Pole. During the journey, the Conductor will punch tickets and chefs will serve hot chocolate, followed by a reading of Van Allsburg’s classic. At the North Pole, Santa will step aboard and greet the children and just like in the story each child will receive a keepsake silver bell.
More than 12,000 passengers will travel to the North Pole this season and create lifelong holiday memories.
THE POLAR EXPRESS evening rides depart at 5:00 pm, 6:30 pm and 8:00 pm Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays (and one Wednesday).
THE POLAR EXPRESS on the V&T has been an early sell-out every season. With limited seating available each Thursday-Sunday nights don’t miss out on this magical journey and book your tickets in advance.
