The Carson City Historical Society will open the historic Foreman-Roberts House Museum on Saturday, January 31, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., in conjunction with the UNR Carson City Master Gardener group’s National Seed Swap Day celebration being held at the Museum’s adjacent Carriage House.
It’s not required to bring seeds – this event is free and open to all novice and experienced gardeners. Just come to find some seeds and meet fellow gardeners. There will be demonstrations, refreshments, and two gardening basket raffles throughout this event.
If seeds are brought, please label seeds with the plant type, variety, location/zone and year grown. Bring your own zip lock bags, paper packets, or other potential seed containers. Some bags will be available.
$5 suggested donations will benefit the UNR Extension Carson City Master Gardener Program.
