The public is invited to attend the 20th annual Feast of Chocolate Event hosted by the American Association of University Women on Saturday, Feb. 8, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Carson Plaza and Event Center, 211 E. 9th Street, Carson City.
Advanced tickets: $20. Tickets day of event: $25. Come sample an abundance of delicious chocolate desserts prepared by the award winning Culinary Arts program from Carson High School, Red’s Old 395, John Hurzel from A Catered Affair, Save Mart North and Raley’s Carson City. Beautiful harp music by Wanda Perschnick will entertain our guests at the event.
There will be a fabulous assortment of gift baskets and a variety of individual gift items available for the raffle. All proceeds from the event provide scholarships to local area women graduates or to women resuming their education at Western Nevada Community College as well as to the AAUW Educational Opportunities Fund.
