Carson City Airport will host its annual Community Open House this Saturday, June 17, featuring plenty of awe-inspiring aircraft, aviation related activities for all-ages plus food, music and more.

Enjoy a day of aviation fun with aircraft, drones and vehicle displays, hands on interactive youth activities, aviation education and information and flight training information. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Food and merchandise vendors will be there along with live music by White Water.


The cost is $1 suggested donation to Boy Scouts for parking. Go here for more information.

There will also be a Young Eagles booth located at the EAA Chapter 403 Chapter on the west side of the terminal building. Chapter representatives will be there. Youth interested in flying are encouraged to stop by the booth to say hello and to learn about the Young Eagles program.
