This year the Carson Nugget will be celebrating the 64rd Annual Community Thanksgiving Feast on Thursday, November 25 from 11am-1pm. All are welcome to join us in the Grand Ballroom from 11am-1pm Thursday, November 25th.
“The event is an annual tradition that feeds the community and feed many residents of Carson City including seniors and veterans” stated Dean DiLullo, the owner of the Carson Nugget who has been a part of the Thanksgiving Feast for many years. This event is made possible by F.I.S.H. in collaboration with the Carson Nugget, A Catered Affaire Busboy Mobile Cuisine, and Nevada Nosh.
Friends in Service Helping (F.I.S.H) is a local Carson City organization that provides a “hand up, not a hand out.” Each year F.I.S.H provides 250,000 meals to community members. “Thanks to the help of the community and the sponsors of the Community Thanksgiving Feast we are able to make this event happen every year at the Carson Nugget” said Jim Peckham, the Executive Director of F.I.S.H.
