Sandstone Inn and Tea House is unlike any other Bed-and-Breakfast you have ever experienced. We believe there’s nothing quite like what an old-school, quaint bed and breakfast like ours offers on a unique property- The Rinckel Mansion. This house was built in 1876 as a home for local merchant Mathias Rinckel and his family. Later in 1975, it found pride of place on the National Register of Historic Places list. We are located a block from the Carson City capitol and within walking distance of all the local pubs and shopping zones.
When you enter Sandstone Inn and Tea House, it is like walking into a completely different world, where time stands still, and you feel compelled to slow down and take in the classic beauty of the original décor and ambiance. We have retained much of the existing embellishments and furniture that came with the mansion and added modern amenities to create the perfect stay for our guests.
