Prison Hill Recreation Area is a playground for outdoor enthusiasts. With areas designated for motorized vehicle and areas for those hoofing it, literally, in all senses. Non-motorized areas are for hiking, biking or equestrian use.
Locals favor the North Loop for a short but challenging mountain bike trail or hike or even equestrian ride. This loop connects with multiple other trails to create a longer route. Prison Hill is one of Carson City’s most unique assets and a must see for any outdoor lover.
