Picnic tables, barbecues, playground equipment, restrooms, horseshoe pits, miniature railroad, three covered pavilions with tables and barbecues, three sand-volleyball courts, tot playground and an outdoor fitness center. Inside Mills Park is the Virginia Orcutt Skateboard Park, open from dawn to dusk. This facility is for skateboards and rollerblades, and participants must wear helmets, knee pads and elbow pads. The community center and indoor-outdoor Aquatic Facility are nearby. Rental space is available.
Located adjacent to the Community Center and Aquatic Facility, this beautiful tree-lined 51 acre Park features expansive grassy fields and walking trails, with arched footbridges crossing a meandering seasonal creekbed. As the favored site for summer carnivals, car shows, runs/relays and competitive sports events, the Park also offers three covered Picnic Pavilions which are the perfect spot for community picnics and special family events. The large Marv Teixeira Pavilion located on the the NE corner of the Park plays host to an inline hockey league during the winter months and a myriad of other community-based events on warm summer weekends.
