John D. Winters Centennial Park Complex is a premier 59-acre sports facility in Carson City designed for tournaments, league play, and community recreation. Located at 5400 Heritage Way, this expansive complex features multiple softball fields, soccer fields, tennis courts, and a dedicated archery range, making it one of the top destinations for outdoor sports in the region.
The lower fields include three softball fields, one soccer field, restrooms, and eight lighted tennis courts. The upper fields offer four additional softball fields with field lighting, a concession stand, and restrooms to support large tournaments and special events. The tennis court complex also features eight courts, a covered pavilion, playground equipment, and nearby restrooms, creating a family-friendly environment for athletes and spectators.
North and east of Eagle Valley Golf Course, the on-site archery range includes two target courses for practice and competition.
Charcoal barbecues, fire pits, glass containers, and animals other than service animals are not permitted within the sports complex. Camping is not allowed unless approved for a special event.
